This is an excellent product at an excellent price, the installation is pretty straight forward, you will need a neutral wire to make this unit function properly, using the ground wire as a neutral will compromise the integrity of your homes electrical system, proper installation uses the Black wire as the feed in to the switch, the White wire as a neutral to allow the uninterrupted power to the WiFi component of the switch, once in stalled it has a very easy setup, once paired with the smart life app the unit works flawlessly, while I have not experienced this problem I have read other reviews stating that the mechanical part of the switch fails after some time, Over all I am very satisfied with the unit and will purchase more in the future

Wiring was easy, instructions were clear, but it was inconvenient in my case since I was installing in a multiple gang box where all the neutral white wires were twisted together, so I had to run to the hardware store and pick up a short piece of wire to use as a pigtail to make the connection to the neutral wire, you must have a neutral white wire in the box for the smart switch functionality to work, the smart features of the switch were also easy to set up, physical installation of the switch took me about half an hour, mostly because I go slow when wiring a new type of switch and because I had to do the jumper to the neutral wire

It has made my life easier and my future brighter, i've purchased various wifi smart plugs but needed a solution to my lack of wall outlets yet another issue living in an old house, I figured there had to be a better way than having multiple extension cords under my couches and was tickled pink to find this power strip, this device works flawlessly with the smart life app, an app used by many different smart plugs, i'd suggest always trying smart life out first before adding another app to your phone, pairing was simple and since I was using my existing smart life app, the hardest part was figuring out what to call each light
