On the Mi A2 Lite the screen is fully covered, however there is the Halo effect because the phone's screen is 2.5D. If you don't like this halo effect you should consider buying one with black borders, though the screen will look shrinked. Overall I'm happier with this fully transparent glass even with the halo effect.
