It is a fraction of the cost of the MSR product my sister uses but is still very well constructed and works pretty much identically to that product, sometimes the ignition on these little stoves even the expensive brands goes out, but you will need to have a lighter or matches available to start the flame just in case this happens, but the last thing you want is to have all that fuel and this lovely little stove and have to eat cold oatmeal because you weren't prepared to light it if necessary
This is defiantly a good little stove for the occasional hike or to keep for emergencies, but I would invest in a higher quality version if you are like me and hike often, This system of stove is amazing and convenient, The only problems I have with this stove is that the cheaper price also includes cheaper features, I may have moved on to a more handsome stove
This stove is very lightweight and works just as it should, it is very easy to use and always lights the first time, The only complaint with this item is that the stands to hold the pot are not very big and so a pot is unstable on it, This is something that is very common for backpacking stoves
The fact that you can use lightweight butane/propane mix canisters is also a serious plus for such an inexpensive stove, Since you get to use the blended fuel it should work pretty well in colder climates personally haven't tested this particular stove that way yet
Or identical stoves sold with other names, so actual cooking with it is problematic with thin-wall backpacking pots, Like other canister-top stoves it is unstable and really wants to have a stabilizer on its canister
